You'll be surprised at the difference isolating your turntable can make. I tried other options - most looked like someone's high school welding project [and didn't work] and none of them matched the beauty of our dovetailed hardwoods.
The rules of audio don't care what you've spent on your system.
Your turntable produces the lowest analog signal levels in your system - far below your ability to hear them.
Your stylus and tonearm are antennas and can re-ingest what it just produced, causing 'muddy' sound, instruments 'smashed' together and overall messy audio. Part of this is called phase cancellation and occurs when components are not isolated.
Decoupling using multi-layer isolation. All sections are hand-built and we limit the base to inner support contact by no more than a couple of millimeters then provide additional isolation with a foam supported turntable platform. Think of your turntable as 'floating' above your floor.
Each finish is then hand sanded several times then rubbed with Danish oil. Custom finishes and woods on request.
Our isolators are hand built in Minnesota from hardwoods using through dovetailed joints. Boxes built this way are still in use 200 years later. Each one takes 6 hours over 3 days to make before it's shipped to your door.
